Senator Manny Pacquiao urged students in Bulacan to value education that will serve as their passport to a better future.
During his welcome speech, Bulacan Governor Wilhelmino Sy-Alvarado proudly asserted that Region II has come of age and is ready to face the challenge of economic revolution in the area. In his speech, the TESDA Director General Guiling A. Mamondiong thanked the Technical Vocational Institution of the region for their being key players in realizing the Socio-economic Agenda of the Duterte.
The event was also graced by the presence of Governor Wilhelmino Sy-Alvarado who delivered a speech on the rich history of the Institution along with the honor, prestige, and service that the BulSU graduates have brought upon the Province of Bulacan over the years.
The graduates were all beneficiaries of TESDA's Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP).. Bulacan Governor Wilhelmino Sy-Alvarado, who also graced the event, affirmed his support in the promotion of technical education in the province through financial assistance for skills training.
Governor Wilhelmino Sy-Alvarado led the distribution of bags of groceries to PWDs at the Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium in the city. Alvarado said at present, there are 22,000 PWDs in Bulacan who are being monitored and empowered by the province through different programs tailored for them.

A mass oath taking of the 569 Barangay Tanod Executive Officers was led by Gov. Wilhelmino Sy-Alvarado and the event’s guest speaker, Sen. Teofisto “TG” Guingona III. Hon. Mark Cholo Violago, President Liga ng mga Barangay- Bulacan Chapter, in his speech, recognized the dedication of the Barangay Tanods in performing their tasks.
